MICCAI 2010 Conference Registration
In principle based on the rule of the MICCAI2010, it is required for each accepted paper(both oral and poster) to have a separate registration containing at least the main conference.

Registration at MICCAI 2010 entitles delegates to the following:
  • All registrants: Access to hotel bookings at the conference rate (Limited numbers of rooms are available. Book now to avoid disappointment.)
  • All main conference registrants will also receive the following:
    • Attendance at all keynote and conference sessions
    • Attendance at the MICCAI Conference Welcome Reception
    • Attendance at the Conference Banquet at the CNCC
    • Lunch and morning and afternoon tea during the Conference
    • Conference Proceedings by Springer LNCS (either as printed proceedings with a CD-ROM included or on a USB stick containing a full-text searchable electronic version of the proceedings)
  • Students must present their supervisor's signature with their application form to obtain the student registration rate. Download the form.

    If you want to book the hotel from MICCAI 2010 system, you MUST book it together with the registration for the conference/ workshop/ tutorial.

  • In order to ensure the online registration smoothly, please note the following suggestions:
    • To login the registration system by IE and Firefox browser is prefer.
    • In order to avoid the more inconvenience, regular mailbox that domain names are universities, research institutes and companies are recommended. If you do not get the system email more than 30 minutes, please check your Trash box or try another email.

1) *MICCAI membership
Registrants who choose to become members of the MICCAI Society for 2010/11 may do so by selecting the option "Register as Member" during Step 2 of the registration process for MICCAI 2010. You will immediately be considered to be a member of the MICCAI Society and can register for the MICCAI 2010 conference at the member discounted rates. 2) **Student status
Students whose enrolled fraction at a recognized tertiary institution is greater than 60% may register as students. Students must fill in sections on the form listing the name of your supervisor, as well as other details on the form. The page should then be printed, signed by your supervisor and sent via FAX to MICCAI 2010 on or mail to .

The form can be downloaded from https://miccai2010.org/images/stories/General/student-registrationvalidationform.pdf. Students must have their supervisors sign a form stating that they are a full time student in order for the student to obtain the student registration rate.

3) Payment
Registrants from outside China can book their registration online and pay by credit card. MICCAI 2010 accepts VISA and MasterCard only.

After completing the online registration form and paying for the registration, each registration will be confirmed immediately by our system. Please proceed to the end of the registration process and wait online until receiving our registration confirmation, as unconfirmed registrations are invalid.

4) Early/Normal/Onsite Registration
A discount will be applied to registrations completed before August 1. From August 1 to September 10, the full rate will be due. After September 10, registrations that are made either online or at the conference site in Beijing will be assessed the full on-site registration fee.

5) Social Events
Registration for the MICCAI main conference includes free access to Conference Proceedings by Springer LNCS (either in printed proceedings with CD-ROM included or USB stick containing a full-text searchable electronic version of the proceedings). Registration for the MICCAI main conference includes free access to the Welcome Reception. However, pre-registration is necessary. Extra tickets cost 300 RMB (for early bird) for each event. Registration as a full member/nonmember for the MICCAI main conference includes free access to the Banquet at theCNCC. However, pre-registration is necessary. Extra tickets cost 800 RMB (for early bird). You can purchase extra USB, banquet/reception tickets for accompanying persons.

6) Cancellation
Paying by credit card provides the right to cancel your booking within 5 days of the booking. Member fee will not be refund. Full other payment will be returned unless the event has already begun within that time limit. Cancellations received more than 5 days after registration, but before August 1st, will be assessed a 15% cancellation fee that includes the registration fee and the hotel booking costs. Cancellations made after August 1 will forfeit all conference fees including the registration fee and the hotel booking costs. Notice of cancellation must be given in writing by email or fax and a confirmation of the cancellation must be received by the registrant. If the owed fees are not automatically received via credit card, action will be taken to recover them from the delegates or their employers.

Cancellations must be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat via FAX to MICCAI 2010 on or mail to before August 1, 2010. The local registration committee will send a confirmation fax or email to confirm the cancellation. The cancellation will not be valid until this confirmation of cancellation has been received by the person cancelling the reservation. If the person cancelling the reservation has not received the cancellation receipt within two business days (48 hours), s/he should resend the cancellation information. Failure to receive such a cancellation confirmation will obligate the registrant to the full costs of the registration. No refunds will be made for cancellations sent after midnight August 1, 2010 (Beijing time). If for reasons beyond the control of the organizers, the Conference has to be cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded after expenses incurred by the Conference have been deducted.

If a registrant is unable to attend, the registration may be transferred to a colleague, who may therefore attend. Such registration changes should be sent to as soon as they are known, so that the proper person’s name and affiliations can be listed on their conference materials. If changes are made after conference materials have been labeled, the new registrant will be responsible for making the name changes on their conference materials. In this situation the new registrant is responsible for notifying the conference registration staff when they register in person at the conference.
